San Francisco, Calif.,
Feb. 22, 2001 -- Balthaser Online today announced the availability of
Balthaser:Fx, a professional online design system for creating and maintaining
rich media Web sites and interactive productions. Balthaser:Fx enables
Web designers to create Macromedia Flash software productions.
"As the bar continues to rise on Web design and experience, novice site
builders -- the providers of some of the unique and often valuable content
on the web -- are having a tough time keeping up. Balthaser:Fx enables
even the most graphically challenged individuals to create engaging
rich media web sites. Think of it as Quark meets PowerPoint meets Avid."
The Balthaser:Fx online design system provides Web designers with an
intuitive, easy-to-use means for creating rich media sites says the
company. Users select objects from libraries of thousands of animation,
video, sound, graphic and image components -- or even upload their own
content. Then, they drag these objects into a workspace and customize
them.
The company also says the average Web designer can learn Balthaser:Fx
in a matter of minutes and produce rich media web sites, web banners,
promotional spots, presentations, etc. in hours -- not weeks. Once productions
are created, they can easily be updated. For example, new sound tracks,
graphics and animations can be added, keeping the productions "fresh"
and surfers coming back for more.
Balthaser:Fx was announced on February 12th in a separate press announcement.
