"Last year 97 percent of INFOCOMM's attendees visited the Projection
Shoot-Out, and 85 percent said that the Projection Shoot-Out is the
best comparison of today's projection technology. The attendees really
like to see as many manufacturers as possible. The Projection Shoot-Out
is an opportunity for manufacturers to display and distinguish themselves
from other manufacturers. We give all of our exhibitors the opportunity
to participate in the Projection Shoot-Out, but it is their final decision
on whether or not they do. This year's Projection Shoot-Out is set aside
from previous years by the fact that we've improved on an already fantastic
event to increase the value to the attendees. There are over 100 entries
this year, as well as we have placed lead retrieval units at each product
location to let the attendee request more information from the manufacturer.
We've also returned to the dark environment, included lumens ratings
and contrast ratios in the Technical Supplement, as well as created
a Projection Shoot-Out magazine full of articles from leading industry
experts. So this will be by far, the best Projection Shoot-Out to date."
