Canon LV-5100 LCD projector
Lightweight yet full-featured and durable, the new Canon LV-5100 portable plug-and-play multimedia projector emphasizes the latest optical technology, providing image projection capability to a screen size of up to 200 inches. The LV-5100 projects 700 ANSI lumens, the highest in the SVGA microportable class, and supports HDTV and DVD. Digital Keystone smoothly compensates for trapezoidal distortion, producing a square picture for images projected at an angle of up to +/-15 degrees. Weighing in at 5.95 pounds, the LV-5100 is an easy-to-carry micro- portable LCD projector with enhanced brightness and resolution features, and is well suited for a small office, home office, and even everyday home use.

Communications Specialties Fiberlink Pure digital multiplexer
Communications Specialties' new Pure Digital Fiberlink 10-channel video Multiplexer/PTZ system for video and data transmission offers all the advantages of a digital transmission system, at analog prices. The system transmits up to 10 channels of baseband analog video and optional 2-way (PTZ) data (RS-232, RS-422, RS-485) over one or two fibers and has the lowest cost per channel of any video multiplexer on the market.

Employing all-digital processing and transmission techniques, the Multiplexer system offers a uniform signal over the entire transmission distance with no distortion, crosstalk, or interference. The system is designed to work with standard single mode or multimode fiber optic cable. Fiberlink supports systems with up to a 17 dB loss budget and transmits full bandwidth, full motion, and uncompressed video.

Toshiba TDP-P4 Digital projector
Toshiba caters to mobile professionals with the TDP-P4, a three-pound data/video projector powered by Texas Instruments' DLP technology. This microportable projector delivers 1100 ANSI lumens of brightness and super-sharp true XGA resolution (1024 x 768), plus Digital Visual Interface connectivity and full multimedia capabilities, all of which put the TDP-P4 on a par with home-theater setups. Versatile and easy to use, the projector is compatible with Windows and Macintosh PCs and notebook computers, and has inputs for HDTV, DVD-players, video camcorders, and gaming consoles.

Knox Video ProSwitch Series Presentation switchers
The ProSwitch Series routers from Knox Video are active, vertical interval switchers with either single or dual outputs in thin-profile, 3RU rackmount housings. The ProSwitch Series consists of five lines of switchers, each with an additional channel of video: Alpha (composite), Beta (S-video), Gamma (component), Delta (RGBS) and, Epsilon (RGBHV). While the Alpha and Beta switchers remain at 200Mhz bandwidth, recent engineering development has increased the bandwidth of the Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon switchers. The 350MHz, five-channel Epsilon routers can route VGA, SVGA, and XGA signals. Matrix configurations include 4x1, 4x2, 8x1, and 8x2. At only 1.5" deep, the Epsilon's ultra-thin profile allows for easy installation into a podium, lectern, or cart.

Dukane ImagePro 8750 LCD projector
Dukane Corporation introduces the ImagePro 8750, a portable, true XGA projector with explosive color and brightness. The ImagePro 8750 is fully compatible with all PCs, Pentiums, and Macs, and offers true plug-and-play operation for simple setup. Taking advantage of Texas Instruments' DLP technology, the 8750 is a lightweight projector (6.7 pounds) with reduced pixelation and great contrast. The projector's 270 Watt Super High Performance lamp provides 1300 lumens of on-screen projection light and an impressive 2000 hours of lamp life. Front- or rear-screen projection is possible with the ImagePro 8750, which also offers Digital Video Interface (DVI) or standard PC analog 15-pin SVGA connectivity, composite video, S-video, and audio, along with video formats for NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV.
