A Dealer Visit with Impact

My marketing eye had the opportunity to observe a dealer showroom recently in the Eastern United States. While many dealers have the goal of creating the "WOW" affect in their home theater or conference room, they sometimes miss the elements leading up to their "ultimate" A-V presentation. In this particular visit, the dealer created a visual environment that was stimulating and instilled a desire to return again. Their success was attributed to:

· Easy-to-see signage outside of their building
· A warm welcome at the doorway and professional reception desk
· A painted display of their logo behind the reception desk.
· Display of nicely-designed touch panel in entry
· Display of industry magazines for customers
· Display of nice tri-fold company brochure - very colorful, very professional and very consistent with their corporate image
· Consistent showroom and office designs ("cinema" theme). Very warm and inviting.
· Professional-looking staff
· Newly re-designed web site
· Outstanding business card design

This dealer definitely creates impact with each of its visitors. They have created a strong identity, which pole-vaults them as market leaders and professionals. Their investment in creating such a consistent and visually attractive look has paid off and continues to help them grow their business.
