Looking to self-educate a bit before CEDIA? We did a little research, weeded out the bad and found some good, handy Websites devoted to pros in the industry. Here are our picks:

Home Theater Magazine

We like this magazine! And now the Website is worthy of a bookmark, too. Used to be that you couldn't read the articles on the Web, but now you can -- including past issues. The Website also features news that is fairly up-to-date.

The Digital Theater

We chose this for the gallery. Check out the pictures.

Home Theaters Systems Guide

This site is to help consumers make buying decisions and can give you ideas on how to forumate your customers' needs. We took the test and it appears the Website is diplomatic in terms of recommending different brands.

Av Science Ultimate Forum

This is a great forum site where people can post questions and get answers from peers. It's also a must-see for manufacturers who want to see what folks are saying about their products.

Electronic House

This site has a number of features dedicated to the Pro and gets pretty deep into some aspects of technology -- wiring, in-floor heating, etc.
