Hoffman has just completed the construction and installation of a 4WITM
("Four Wall In") turnkey control room solution for Internet
Security Systems, Inc. at their Security Operations Center (SOC) in
Tokyo, Japan. ISS is a provider of total information security management
for networks, servers, applications and desktops based on the company's
SAFEsuite security management platform. They have offices in Atlanta,
Georgia, Belgium and Tokyo.
The SOC will offer customers firewall software blocks and network monitoring.Hoffman
was selected by Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS), the leading provider
of security management solutions.
This past
April Hoffman opened a permanent office in Tokyo, Japan to service an
expanding Asian market. The new Hoffman Asia office is a full-service
firm offering consultation, management, coordination, and maintenance
services for Network Operation Centers, Control Rooms, High End Presentation
Rooms and Audio/Video Environments.
According to Tari
Schreider, Vice President and General Operations Manager of ISS, "There
are only a few companies in the world that specialize in network operations
center integration. As we continue to grow, it is most important for
our SOCs to be secure and promote productivity. We chose a team of experts
that we were confident would do just that. We had worked with the team
at Hoffman in the past and were confident that their exceptional work
ethic and experience in Japan made them the perfect solution."
In recent
years, Hoffman has been involved in several projects throughout Asia.
Hoffman installed a forty-foot video screen with 6 double stack projectors
at an amusement park in Hokido, Japan. Hoffman also outfitted a cable
television station in Seoul, Korea with two state-of-the-art studios,
several editing bays and two full-scale remote broadcast trucks.
ISS officially went
on-line with its Tokyo facility on August 1, 2001.
