Anark Studio 1.0 Macromedia has long held the interactive content creation title, and as other companies have competed to create the next Director killer, very few managed to succeed. Recently, I had the chance to review Anark Studio 1.0 from Anark. For a 1.0 release, it has a great start in the right direction.
Anark Studio is a very nice authoring alternative that let’s the creator import a variety of media to create interactive interfaces for a variety of needs. For those creating content for the web or CD-ROM, this is a really good package to have. [an error occurred while processing this directive]
Anark Studio 1.0 is also very easy to use. Within an hour of installing the program, I was generating some very cool presentations without really needing to read the manual. Drag and drop, point and click, and load and place elements is really all there is to it. The timeline is similar to the timeline you will find in Adobe After Effects, or Macromedia Director, so anyone who has had experience setting keyframes, modifying properties, etc. will be able to create content very easily. ![]() In regards to setting keyframes, you first click on a stopwatch-type icon to turn on and set the initial keyframe, but from there on, you have to set keyframes by pressing F6 on the keyboard. I would really like to see Anark tweak the program so new keyframes are automatically set when you make an adjustment. 1 2 Next [an error occurred while processing this directive] ![]() |
