Fujitsu PC Corporation today announced the availability of the newest LifeBook S Series notebook--the LifeBook S6000 notebook. Featuring Intel Centrino mobile technology, the LifeBook S6000 notebook delivers groundbreaking performance, yet retains the same impressive design and dimensions users have come to expect from this award-winning series. The company will begin shipping the notebook today with a starting price of $1,549(1).
The LifeBook S6000 notebook is powered by the Intel(R) Pentium(R) M Processor 1.40GHz and features the Intel(R) PRO/Wireless Network Connection 802.11b and Intel(R) 855GM chipset. The Fujitsu LifeBook S6000 notebook comes preinstalled with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional or Windows 2000 Professional and a 60GB, 40GB or 30GB hard drive(2). Users can choose among the recommended configurations or customize their notebook using the Fujitsu Configure To Order (CTO) program. Service and Support
The LifeBook S6000 notebook is backed by a three-year or one-year International Limited Warranty for U.S. and Canadian customers. The International Limited Warranty includes technical support, 24 hours a day, seven days a week(4). In addition, users can add Fujitsu Premium Care Service Plans, which include an on-site service or a screen protection plan.
