Los
Angeles, California --August 15, 2000 -- When FRESH Technologies was
tapped by the Democratic National Convention to put the technologies
and vendors together, they knew they'd need a special projector, especially
for the 30 x 18-foot screen behind the podium.
"Our goal has always been to create a seamless digital backdrop to tell
the story of the Democratic National Convention," says Joseph Finneran,
Co-Founder and Creative Director at Fresh Technologies. "We needed to
find a projector that could cut through all the ambient lighting created
by the theatrical, broadcast and convention floor lights and provide
bright high-resolution images and the Roadie S12 more than met these
requirements."
As a member of the Directors Guild of America, Joseph Finneran has extensive
experience with large screen displays and new technology issues. When
the time came to choose a projector, he chose the projection solution
specialists at Creative Technology. Together, they tested several projectors
for brightness and graphicimagery
and chose Christie Digital Systems' Roadie S12s and Roadster X4s.
