Proxima
Proxima ProjectionLink network system for Projectors. We like the features and flexibility this product offers for those customers wanting a simple hang-and-bang system.

DVI

DVI on Projectors (Silicon Image invented it) Although Silicon Image created the DVI (formerly PanelLink) standard, virtually every projector manufacturer adopted the standard in less than 12 months. That's a feat in itself. Everyone agrees that DVI is going to be big.

Sony

Sony for their VPL-VW10HT LCD video projector. Sony displayed the foresight to develop a true 16x9 display device and raised the bar on video quality from an LCD projector. If Sony upgrades this unit to something above 2000 ANSI lumens and adds Pro A/V connectors, they are going to do some serious damage in the Pro A/V market.

Sharp Electronics

Sharp Electronics for their new projector control software, SAPs Group Control and Networking Software. With this software, Sharp is the first manufacturer to fully realize that control is the name of the game. With the ability to control up to 250 projectors and have those projectors send e-mail messages directly to an A/V tech's e-mail address if a failure occurs, Sharp has demonstrated an understanding that it's not just a brightness game anymore.

Plus

Plus U3-1180 2.9 lb. DLP box. The first to introduce a sub-3 lb. projector and appear to be on the way to dominating that market because they are making the projector for a number of other companies.
