Manalapan, NJ, November 29, 2000 -- With one client who needs austere for the boardroom and another who wants bright colors for a circus, customized touch panel graphics can be tedious for the dealer. That's exactly the sort of problem MDCI has elected to resolve with the introduction of six new graphic packages designed and sized specifically for the AV Touch Panel industry.

The new packages offer more than 4,000 unique images across a wide variety of styles, for every use from residential client to corporate. According to Mr. John Campanella, CTS-D, and President of MDCI, touch panel companies aren't in the graphics business and trying to put together custom graphics for every job is tedious, time-consuming and frought with possible problems. "And going to clip art companies, or a clip art CD, is going to result in different and often incompatible styles," he says. The first (TPG1) of the series of 6 products is now shipping, the others are slated to ship by the end of 2000. All of the packages are organized in 15 categories, including: DVD, DSS, PC, HVAC etc. They are 100% compatible with leading full Color and Black& White touch panels. The user pays only a one time license fee for the rights to use the graphics on as many touch panels that they would like.MDCI is a multimedia technology company serving: Broadcast Facilities, Entertainment Complexes, Fortune 50 Companies, Industrial Complexes, Insurance Companies, Pharmaceutical Companies, Major Entertainment Personalities, Retail Complexes,

Residential Homes, Sporting Event Facilities,Technology Companies, Theatre & Production Companies

Graphics creation is simple. You use the TOG1 CD, open the manufacturers touch panel program, drag or import the icons from the CD or hard drive onto the touch panel. It works with any program that will take a bitmap.

The graphics address CD, DVD, HVAC and every subsystem, he said. And once integrators have used these on all their installations this year, there will be more to choose from next year. "Our plan is a minumum of six packages a year," says Campanella.
